Benefits of ac125s over ac128s

Hi...there's a lot of stuff on the board about these two transistors, but I haven't found a thread that addresses the simple matter of whether there is a benefit to using one over the other, especially in a Fuzz Face circuit.

(For what it's worth, even though Fuzz Central lists the 128s as a traditional component in the Ge Fuzz Face, Analog Mike notes that in his years of surgery on old Fuzz Faces, he's never seen 128s in any of them.)

I ask because I'm debating whether or not to buy a bunch of 125s to experiment with as Q2 in a few Fuzz Face variants, and I'm more interested in a classic/vintage type of sound (perhaps with a touch more gain than traditional Q2s provide, but that's not SO important).  Since the NOS NKT 275s seem virtually impossible to find, I would like your opinions on whether the 125s have the potential to do the trick as I've described.

Thanks in advance, folks...
