bypass footswitch for second speaker cab

I've got an 8ohm THD Hotplate that I'm considering doing the following with:

Amp 8ohm out into the 8ohm Hotplate.

Hotplate Speaker 1 out into a 16ohm speaker - this speaker will always be connected, no bypass involved and an always-present speaker load

Hotplate Speaker 2 out into some sort of simple on/off bypass footswitch into a second 16 ohm speaker.

Basically, I want to use a footswitch to turn the second speaker on and off. The first speaker is always on.

My understanding is that there will always be an appropriate load in this scenario, unlike using an A/B switch to switch from one cab to another. I'm merely adding a second cab.

Each configuration is cool with the Hotplate's spec's, but here's the question: where can I find the right footswitch to do this? I can't seem to find a simple bypass footswitch. I imagine that it has a 1/4" in for the speaker cable from the hotplate, a 1/4" out for the speaker cable to the (second) cab, and a single footswitch on the top.

If no commercial product exists, I could probably build one, but I would then be interested if anyone knows if a standard true-bypass DPDT switch I can get most places would work between an amp and speaker.

Thanks!
