Does anyone have a part # for Mouser or Digikey or somebody for a suitable replacement switch for the old MXR Commande series pedals? I have one of the compressors (sustainor) that I've always liked and the switch has finally gone south on me. Stays on as long as I hold the footswitch down but once I let go, it turns off.
Thanks for any help,
Greg

I have a Commande series Flanger.  The switch used in that is a PC-mount DPDT "soft-touch" type, which the flexible pad on the top of the chassis actuates.  Same as yours?  Small Bear sells a similar type of switch for what Steve refers to as "bypass-on-board".  The one he sells has a metal stabilizing bracket around it.  I have bought the barebones switch from a place I go to in Toronto now and then, but I suppose you can either remove the stabilizing bracket from the one Steve sells or order one without a bracket from one of the major suppliers like Mouser.  I am not absolutely swear-on-my-mother's-life certain that the spacing is identical to the switch in the MXR unit, but it is damn close (fits in the same space as a 6-pin IC like a 4N37 or H11F2 optoisolator).  I paid $1.60 CDN (plus taxes) for mine.  I can't see yours costing more than $3.
