ultimate bass wah

I have a thomas wah with tdk inductor id like to do a true bypass,buffer,and bass wah mod any suggestions on what to start with???

If it's an old thomas, I'd leave it. Mod the hell out of a Dunlop
Or at least save the original guts and build a totally new board.
I'm making one, based on RG's article (see link above), Fasel repro inductor from smallbear.
The main difference between bass wahs and regular ones is *just* one cap!!
It's the one designated Cf in the article: the .01 cap is increased to .068 to shift the main wah frequency down.
The exact value, and some mucking with components, and adding some switches to fine tune Q and range are fine tuning.
I'll probably install some switches and pots, but if you don't want to, using sockets to find your fave value works great.
