how to resize layouts from layout gallery?

obviously the PCB layouts in the gallery are not actual size. so how much do we re-size them (and what DPI?) before printing to make a  Press N' Peel type board?  sorry if this is a frequent question, i searched - i found nada!

I don't know if this works for everyone, but generally I can resize them to 45% and they are spot on.

I know this for sure about DIYLC layouts, not sure about the others, but I thought I remembered that working for other layouts as well.

I actually have no idea why though. I arrived at that out of luck/trial and error. Maybe someone else can give you a better answer.

i re-sampled "so simple comp" to 100 DPI, and 2.96 X 1.88 inches...parts line up fine at this size...no idea what % reduction it is though! anyway, it's easy enough to do I have found!  thanks!
