Question on jack wiring when rehousing a lovepedal?

Hi all,
I'm rehousing a mate's  lovepedal pickle vibe into a larger enclosure because he wants to use a 9v battery instead of an adaptor. Fair enough and seems straightforward.
Rewired the output jack, added 9v adaptor and that's fine.
The issue I'm having is wiring the input jack from the board. I ran the tip, ring sleeve to the new jack but get no signal.
I noticed it has relay switching but can't how that would affect rewiring another jack.
I got some pics below – ignore my input jack wiring.
Thanks in advance!

The original sockets are switching or normalised ones, these have two sets of contacts for each position when nothing is plugged in these are connected together and when a jack is inserted the connection is broken and only one set of contacts touches the jack.
What's probably happening is that these are wired so that when nothing is plugged in some of the contacts are grounded, so just wiring your sockets in parallel won't work. To check this plug cables into the original sockets and see if that makes yours work. If it does you'll need to either remove the jacks or stop the contacts touching by bending they open or sticking something non conductive between them.

You also need to check you're using the correct sets of contacts, you should be using the ones highlighted below

Thanks for the info. Forgot to think about the fact there are two set of contacts per position! :P
The output jack wired in parallel works fine, it's just the input jack.
I'll try insulating the contact points on the input jack. Thanks!
