question about silicon transistor replacement types..

hi guys,

i found this schematic and since i like cheesy organs.. im going to try it:

but.. only 1 problem.. i cannot find the needed transistors at my regular supplystore (and they do have a lot)
i am aware of datasheets  , but what are the things to keep in my mind besides pinout and hfe.. i really dont know how to look for replacements.

the ones i need replaced are: 2SC3622, 2SC3245, 2SC3248

Did you try Google terms like: workalike or equivalent and your transistor numbers? Just a thought.

yes i did, but unfortunately it only shows chinese datasheet sites.. in chinese

It appears the author(s) had a stash of these transistors. One of them is a 180 Volt type, clearly not needed on this 9V circuit.... but maybe it was cheap.

Use 2N5089, it'll work. Aron sells them here. Yeah, his bag is 10 times more than you need, but '5089 can be used in MANY other things too.
