hey guys just saw this and it game a very goodidea

I teach some guitar and i usually use my foot as a metronome for my students, i thought it'd be nie to have this sort of thing for tapping it you know since my foot on a carpet floor aint making much of a noise

so what is it? a simple piezo?

They're called stompboxes (and they probably have a better claim to the name than effect pedals  ). Most of them are piezos. I've heard you can DIY them by taking a piece of wood, putting a piezo on the bottom, and then sticking some neoprene over the piezo. https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Stomp_box

thanx i've also found the name Footdrumm (tho again it doesnt make much sense you know) but yeah definitely making one, let's see if i can find some wood for that
