reducing transistor gain in a superfuzz

A question inspired by the Easyface approach to reducing the Q1/Q2 gains...does anyone foresee a problem if I put 100k or 200k resistors to ground on the emitters of the transistors for the superfuzz to cut down on the gain a little bit?
