i want to build distortion pedal.
what pedal can i build?

If this is your FIRST pedal build, I would recommend that you try the beginner's project. It is set up for beginners and it sounds and works very well. I don't think it is a distortion (if memory serves me) however, it is a good place to start.

I think it is a booster. Distortion circuits are a bit more complex but, after you learn the basics and get a good parts bin going, a basic distortion circuit could be the next logical step.

i want try to build distortion pedal and if that will be hard to me i will try and build booster.
what pedal will be good for me?

This is a super easy good sounding overdirve/distortion



Instead of the speaker, just put an out jack

this is a super easy 'distortion' with minimal parts, its quite good and will get you distorted into the realms of metal etc,rather than just boosted...
