Electrodynamic Microphone coil for PU

  I can't quote from the page, but there is print ''this electrodynamic microphone''
   Shows a picture of little stick-on pickup element.
  I'm not real clear...is this just a way of mounting a microphone diaphram where the air moves it ?
   Anyway I can't find pictures of dynamic microphone coils, was wondering if guitar pickup wire would be suitable to try or what and how many coils...their orientation etc.
  Was thinkin' of makin' a pickup/mic thing for my accoustic again..
