Foot switch channel switching

I'm thinking about doing another Dr Boogie but want to switch from two sets of gains and volumes with a foot switch with LED indicator. Cant seem to find anything on this. Any ideas. Thanks.

Hi,

Do you need to switch between with one footswitch or two footswitches?

There are several methods to do that:

- if you need simple switching you can use 3PDT or 4PDT switches (you won't be able to switch between two settings with two swithces because they are independent and you cannot isolate one switch with other and vice vers)
- for more complicated style of switching I recommend using 4052 cmos chips which has analog switches inside
- you can use also LDRs which is common way to switch channels in amplifiers etc...

If I need special switching I usually use microcontroller such as PIC or ARM etc and control 4052s.

There are actually many options.

I just want to switch from two set of pots with a 3DPT stomp switch if possible. If not then ill have to settle for one or the other. Thanks nixon for the help.

okay its old and probably been asked a million times but....i want to do the same thing...going to rip out my boogie and update it...

8 pots...2 footswitches 2 leds...    vol/p t m b gain..plus  another vol and gain for switch 2

i found my boogie is great on low gain...and hi gain....but i also want to boost that other hi gain with volume too...manually..

any diagrams to do this ...switching wise?...i'm using the gauss layout...

ive seen ones for the added gain pot...but not the gain and volume add on!!!!!!....just cant get my head round it...
