So i just finished my first ever vero build (and can post pics if you guys want) but have a question about what BBD chip to use.  I built a Zombie chorus pedal, and used the following layout that i found:

It calls for the MN3007 1024 stage BBD chip.  Smallbear sells this chip for a little over $10, but i read that i could sub it out for the MN 3207.  I can find these at smallbear/mammoth for much cheaper.  would it make a difference, or should i use the retro chip?

i hope it works lolol.

From what Mark Hammer has mentioned, I think you can sub. I'm curious as well because I've been staring at the schem for awhile... even got my PLL and 3207,  but can't remember if you have to change other parts, or just traces for pinout differences.

Hehe... I originally ordered a pair of clocks and bbd's to play with, but after I finally listened to a clip of the Zombie... I gotta make one.
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

It's not a direct sub, the power requirements are different, search for the 3207 Zombie Chorus, a schematic exists I beleive.

But you can't just drop the 3207 in.
