what's going on?

D'oh! built a stratoblaster and then a sparkle boost and they all give me the same issue. they make my pedals FART as SHIT srsly. that sortt of annoying clipping is just.. i don't get how. they work well with my amp, but with any other effect they just clip it! is it cause of the jFET? ima try a LPB-1 now

Of course you can't crank a booster into other pedals, unless you want to send those pedals into overdrive themselves. Most pedals are designed for a guitar level signal, not an amplified signal. Come on man, this is basic 101 level stuff!

it may be a case of hitting effects pedal x too hard. sounds like op amp clipping/ and or voltage rails issue... tho iirc the stratoblaster doesn't have a HUGE amount of boost... are you going into fresh batteries? what type of pedal dist is giving you the most offensive sound? there may be some circuit topologies that are more prone to uglyness at big signal swing, though diode to ground clippers should be 'issue' free other than sharp trebly squared corners due to slamming the boosted signal through a low threshold clamp.

ah well i was thinking the same and also thinking i couldnt get the desired effect with the messed up taper pot in there  couldnt get a reverse pot so it works only the 1/3 of the turn) I'll re try it again.

yeah i tried with the effects before the booster and still the same. btu well my cable died on it's way and my adapters cable died as well (what a day ) and i didnt experiment with that that much. I'll do it today when i re-solder all those cables

one thing i remember is that say my behringer distortion or my fish n' chips EQ wouldn't clip my RP even if i'd crank their volume up (EQ has got a boost) so anyways. I'll redo it and keep you updated. your comments already made me think i am doing something wrong, it's not in teh schematics
