So far I have built a handful of effects all of which have tonepad's 3tdpoff board wiring.
I'm stuck building fuzz central's version of the octavIa - there doesn't seem to be an output on the pcb, also not sure how to wire the pots as it doesn't say

Astronaurt

I'm actually building that right now myself, You take the output from the Wiper on the Volume pot and just wire the Boost pot as Variable Resistor between the Cap and Ground. Nothing too complicated.

Thanks Astronaurt.
Are you making the negative ground version?

General Guitar Gadgets has a similar project with decent off board wiring diagrams here. I really like having the pre-gain control.

fleeps

Yeah, the Tonepad version too.

Mine isn't working, I think I need some help!

its the negative ground version.
I'm using a power supply.  DC socket is showing only 0.6v!

Check for _/+ short at the PS rails..under all the power/switch conditions, don't apply power if there's a short.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

thanks petemoore.
turned out it was the 1n4002 in the wrong way. In his description it doesn't mention that the 1n4002 needs to be reversed for the negative ground version.  it does show it in the schematic - being new to diy pedals I tend to follow the layouts first.  I'm slowly learning!
