Ea tremolo hiss

Hi!
I've built an Ea tremolo with the layout on general guitar gadgets and with all the original components on the site. But the effect works only in bypass and when i switch it produces only a hiss, that increase its frequency increasing the 2 pot of depth and speed. Do you know what's the problem?

I just built an ea tremolo same deal purchased printed board from generalguitargadgets every component to spec and works fine in bypass but get a hiss and a modulating hum when  on and I rotate the pots.

I posted to this thread because it appears noone ever responded not trying to bump it just thought it was more relavent to post here than start a new thread.
