Will this switching arrangement load down the FX loop output?

Even when the switch is flipped to the top position so the pot has no input will it load down the output of an FXs? FXs output have pretty small impedance generally so I think I would be ok.

When the pot is "out" of the circuit it still acts like a varaible path of resistance to ground. I could add a SPST to break the connection from the wiper to the 100nF cap but I'm not sure if I need to?

Thanks...

When the switch is in the down position it should work fine, the pot is big enough not to load down the output of the effects.
In the up position, the one it's in in the drawing, then I don't think it will work like you want. If the pot is turned all the way down then you're shorting the output to ground, low settings would probably also load down the output.

I'd do it by connecting the top of the pot permanently to the output of the loop. Then have the switch select between the top of the pot or the wiper, if that makes sense.
