Hello. I'm building a Small Clone and I was interested in doing the vibrato mod, using a DPDT with LED to switch in and out the dry signal at the 22k resistor coming from the 4558's pin 1. (By the way, if someone knows of a better mod that would give me some blend control without the volume problem caused by replacing the 20k and 22k resistors with a pot, I'd greatly appreciate it. Sadly, I couldn't find any.) The only problem I found was that, if I used the effect in stereo, I guess that the second output would still give me a chorus signal. Where would I need to cut the circuit in the stereo mod to take out the dry signal?? Is it as well the other 22k coming from pad A?
Thanks in advance!

Here's the project from Tonepad: http://www.tonepad.com/getFileInfo.asp?id=97

Yeah, for stereo vibrato you need to switch out the other 22k resistor from A.

Don't know about the blend pot, what's the problem with it?

Thanks for your answer!
About the blend pot, reports say there's an increase in volume when either the dry or wet signal is maxed out. That's probably because both positions would mean bypassing the 22k or 20k resistors. There must be some way to wire it with a resistor in series so this doesn't happen, instead of just replacing both with the pot, but I'm not good enough at electronics to figure it out...
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but could I cut the trace just after pin 1 of the op-amp in the original circuit to disconnect the dry signal from both outputs at once? This way I'd need only one pole of the switch, and I could use a DPDT instead of a 3PDT.

For an effect level pot in series, see the tonepad layout for the CE-2. You can never quite remove the effect completely, but that's what the bypass is for :)

Referring to the tonepad Small Clone schematic, you need to place the vibrato switch between the output of IC1a and point A (which goes to the stereo board and is placed before the 22k resistor) (again, see the CE-2 schematic).
