whilst browsing thorugh the web finding the 'correct' zvex SHO schematic, I decided to go to the zvex site and see if I would have any look there.
I managed to find the schematic of it on a pdf for the 'inventobox'
http://www.zvex.com/module_instructions.pdf
I noticed that the input cap is 0.01uF, now on nearly all the other schematics the input cap is 0.1uF.
Will this make a massive difference.

The only thing I can think of is that it will make the tone brighter.  0.1uF is common for a simple boost.  I would experiment with different values in this slot and see which one sounds the best to YOU  ;D.  You could use a switch that uses different values (DPDT/DP3T) for different Frequency response.

Bigger cap values tend to make the sound darker/more body/bass.  Smaller values can make the tone brighter/thinner.  0.1uF is standard cuz it's pretty in the middle... But I like .01/.022/.047/.068/.1/.22/0.47uF

^------^------^-----------These are common "tone" caps for guitar tone controls...
Gear: Epi Les Paul (archtop) w/ 490R in the neck, and SD '59N in the bridge; Silvertone 1484 w/ a WGS G15C

Still a tubey noobie. Been doing this a while, and still can't figure much out, smh.
