Revisiting my first stompbox: UGH!

Started soldering fuzzes in  the beginning of 2008 with a GGG Boutique '60s fuzz kit that stopped working a year or so ago.   (actually, a few of my first projects have died recently.   Hmmmmm)

I deconstructed it out of the maze of solder blobs and spaghetti to find that it is amazing that it worked at all.   The input capacitor (2.2uf, electrolytic) is BACKWARDS as it the power filtering cap.   I think I'll just clean it up, put it back together, and start over with this one.   

I might even get a better sound out of it this time!
