How do you post pictures?

I can't figure out how to post a pic on here from a folder on my computer.Help!

i upload them on photobucket and then beside the photo there is a direct image source URL i believe surrounded by img\\ or something. or it may say "embed"

Cool!Is photobucket free?

I dislike PhotoBucket. They mangle images, it is difficult to link directly TO an image (rather than an ad-filled page), and once a month some PhotoBucket page has hidden script that hoses my browser.

Both are free. Both may be used without registering an account. TinyPic now has a "type these letters" thing for anonymous uploads. Registering an account is free, and I can not trace any spam from either site. Having an account makes it possible to organize your images, etc. Both TinyPic and Imgur give you the exact code needed to post pictures in-forum.



Imgur has a re-sizing tool (but very hard to find).
