just conjured up a quick  bipolar power supply using a tl054 surge pump from smallbear.

ive now got close to 9v using a 10uf,2uf, and 100uf cap and the ic.
quick question is......
obviously with the pnp circuit, the negative and positve is reversed.
how is it wired using -9v?
-9v = ground?
can some one explain in moronic terms?? ???

Connect the ground from the LT1054 to the ground of the circuit to be powered.
Connect the -9V from the LT1054 to the -9V connection of your circuit to be powered.
All done. I'll leave it someone else to explain further.
