I have two IC's that I cannot find.  Can someone help with a sub or point me to where I can get them?
The first says,
MC1741cp
1
MJ549

and the second has
7536J
on it.

Thanks for any leads,

dschwartz

7536J sounds more like a serial number..

and MC1741cp looks like a LM741 type opamp to me...

Yeah, the MC1741CP is most likely an LM741 type single opamp.  8 pin DIP package, right?

Some more info on the second part would be helpful -- how many pins, what kind of package, any logo on the chip?

newperson

thanks for the quick responses,
they are both 8 pin normal dip
the 7536j
sn72LO22P
has the texas image on it

the MC1741CP
1
J549
has the motorola "M" image before the J549

There are 7 of the 7536J
and only 1 of the other.
There are in an old phaser pedal.

I found something about the sn72LO22P being a high gain opamp, so
my guess is the sn72LO22P  is a TL022P.

I found the SN72L022 in an old TI data book.  It's a dual general purpose low power op amp, using the standard pinout for a dual op amp (same as a TL082, LM358, etc.)
The data book is a 1973 edition, so it's probable that the 7536 number is a 1975 date code (36th week of the year 1975).

I GOT MC1741 OP AMPS ALSO YOU CAN GET A TUBE SCREAMER TUNING KIT FROM BANZAI MUSICAL PRODUCTS THAT HAS ABOUT 8 CHIPS  CHEAP. BEST WAY IS USE A SOCKET FOR THE IC AND TRY DIFFERENT ONES TILL YOU GET THERE. YOUR CHIP IS A DUEL OP AMP INTERNALY COMPHENSATED. TLO72, TLO82. MC1458,MC4558. NE5532, LM358, LF353, IS A FEW YOU CAN TRY..
