Hi there,

I have been away for a while from the forum.  It's been almost a year or so.  Good to be back.

I have made the transition to bass playing since last October and have built myself a bass cab and a rack unit for the head.  I was using a Tech21 VT Bass, but decided to sell it, I didn't like the sound as much as I thought I should.  I am now contemplating building a Flipster.  Well in fact I'm pretty much going with it, just waiting for the PCB in the mail (I would've made it myself, but don't have the tools in my appartment right now).

Question is:  Is there a way to put a simple but effective "Mid" control on the Flipster?  If yes, please help me figure how to do it.

Thanks to all.

Thanks.

How would I go in adding that mid control into the ROG schem?

By looking at both schems, I believe I would have to place the mid control after the 470pf cap or should I replace that cap totally with the mid control?

Hi,

Check out the tone stack for the Carvin Legacy.  That should give you an idea.

Good luck!

Following Gary's reference to the Carvin Legacy, replace the 22k resistor with a 25k pot wired as a variable resistor.
