I've had pretty crappy results in the past when trying to make PCBs using Press n' Peel, and would like to find someone who's willing to make a few (read: 4) different boards. I've considered using something like BatchPCB or Seeed Studio, but I'd rather not bone up on making the layouts in EAGLE.

Are there people who offer this kind of service, or does everyone just learn how to use Press n' Peel and get over it? That would be better I suppose, but it's no fun to spend a bunch of time making a board then realizing that it's ruined. Y'know?

Thanks.

It's no fun to mess it up, but it's a really important step in learning.

It's all about preparation.  Have a good, well cleaned pcb blank, and take the time to do the steps properly.

One thing I never do is run the board under cold water.  Once you've done this, if your etching didn't take, it's hard to get a do over.

I usually use a big enclosure as a heat sink, and move the board around until it is cooled down enough to take a peek.  That way, if it's no good, you can get your iron and go over those areas again.
Try a little tenderness.
