OT: Output section-synth

Problem is that the line level is very low. I'm trying to find out if it's normal, but I don't think it is.
I just did a test and the headphone volume is as it should be which then tells me that since the normal outputs feed the headphones, maybe this synth does have extremely low output levels.

In this schematic, I tried to lower R43 to around 22K, but all it did was add a lot of hum to the headphone output. Of course then I realized that any changes I make to R38,R39 or R43,R44 will affect the headphone output too. hmmm....

Any ideas to improve the output?

R43 is in an active low pass filter, when you changed it you messed with the filter response (maybe it even started to oscillate).

Why don't you tap the line out from the phones output?
