hey guys, what would be a good sized hammond style enclosure to stuff a clone theory on veroboard into?

i'm using Cathexis's layout from the gallery...

thanks in advance guys!!

sorry for the dumb question, but no clue what the differences are in terms of size...i need to stuff in the board, a daughter board with a charge pump etc, with the stereo output etc...so i imagine i need a little room.

this is the specific layout i'm talking about:

Well, depending on how much you want to squeeze, you could stuff it into a 125B, but at 2.6" by 4.7", you're looking at no side to side room, and only about an inch of clearance at one end of the board or the other. This wouldn't be too bad if your mechanical aptitude is up to par, but note that 1" probably doesn't leave room for the battery (which I assume wouldn't be a problem... charge pump).

However, I would say a BB sized enclosure would give you a ton more working room. You may be able to squeeze it in the short ways and have lots of room at the top and bottom. That's what I would recommend... however, personally, I'd take the challenge of the ultra-stuff, lol.

i got big fat fumbly fingers that match my big fat fumbly mind...so i better take the easy way and go for a bb size...

would that be a 1590bb or something?
i mean, i don't mind having a bit of room to work bro.

Pff... that box is for squares!

(sorry, I know it's an incredibly dated joke!)

It is pretty neat, though.
