Hey all, I wanna build a ROG Tri-Vibe, but I've been thinking about adding an expression pedal to it. I won't be able to find a wah shell and retrofit it with a C500K pot, though. What other options do I have?

Talking about C pots, can the C500k pot in the Tri-Vibe, Phase 45, etc, be successfully replaced by a tapered linear pot as in R.G.'s "Secret Life of Pots"? I see it's wired as a variable resistor...

you can use any expression pedal you can get and use it's signal to drive an optocoupler. as it would be hard to simulate the rev log type response may be it would be better to use a uC to read the expression pedal status and to send PWM signals to optocoupler.
this is quite a project for an expression pedal - may be someone will advise something more easy to build.

Thanks! :) This just might be what it takes... Any other ideas, though?
