OC987, OC988 ?

Hoping someone might know something about these..  Couldn't find data sheets and seems to be no mention in the forums.
I figure the oc987 are NPN due to the blue dot and oc988 PNP having a red dot, assumed from previous Ge. I have used.
Has anyone come across these before??

according to this schematic, the 987 is NPN and the 988 is PNP
