Like I pointed out before, it just acts a gain control for a normal Tube-Screamer-like clipping stage. However, it keeps the peak level the same at all times, which could be useful in other OD designs.

The real deal might sound a bit different - as i remember it, I used an ideal Op-amp for faster computing time. But hey, small part count, so should be easy to bread-board. ;)

I'm not sure I completely understand you? Something as in gain goes op -> volume gets adjusted accordingly?
