Looks like it morphs between Fuzz+clean and overdrive/distortion. Would be interesting to hear this! If you'd like, I can make an LTspice simulation tomorrow, LTspice can export wave-files.

Like I pointed out before, it just acts a gain control for a normal Tube-Screamer-like clipping stage. However, it keeps the peak level the same at all times, which could be useful in other OD designs.

The real deal might sound a bit different - as i remember it, I used an ideal Op-amp for faster computing time. But hey, small part count, so should be easy to bread-board.

I'm not sure I completely understand you? Something as in gain goes op -> volume gets adjusted accordingly?
