ohio i have been building a pedal for a while now, and all the components are working and the soldering is good, but i have really no idea how to hook it upp

its bassicly this design

so i was woundering if sombody could draw out or tell me how to connect the pots and the jacks out and the dpdt ?

Just curious... how do you know it's working good if you haven't hooked the pots up?

Since this is based on the Tonepad Rebote 2.5, I would recommend you head over to Tonepad and look at the project file for tips on how to wire up the pots. Then, check out the project they list as "Offboard Wiring" to learn how to wire up the jacks and switch. :)

If you're not doing it for yourself, it's not DIY. ;)

well i can get it to delay itselff but not the audio that i have hooked in, so iam guessing it kinda works :)
ah yeah, well its based on that circut, but have difrent types of resistors and capacitors so  dont really know if it helps so mutch but i will take a look

Did my best to try to connect the pots but dident get sound out, dont really understand the wireing from the tonepad site.

when you look at the back of a pot, with the lugs pointing down, they are in 3   2   1  order......attach as in your vero layout...

hope this helps.... ;)

ah the lugs of the pots i have figured out, but not where i shall connect them

hi

drawn up just before going to bed! try this way, it should work

Pot lugs are 3 2 1

hope this helps

Oh! great work arma61 now i totaly get it, i have it running only issue is that it runs at a really low volume, trying out with a bent toy with a high level of sound but it turns down the volume alot, any idea if there is a problem ? or is it just by design seens it seems to be build for guitars ? :)

If it was expecting a low input, I'd imagine it'd distort the signal a lot when presented with a hot signal.  Possibly a cold solder joint or something.
I made the transistor angry.

+1 ^^

when I build my stuff I use for testing the headphone signal from an old walkman cassette player, and it works great with the rebote

so check your soldering and also check voltages, and in case something is wrong post your results following this thread

Btw, IIRC these are good voltages from a working Rebote

Battery Voltage – 9.54

IC3 TL078:
In – 9.54
Ground – 0.00
Out – 5.01

TL072:
1 –  4.78    5 – 4.66
2 –  4.78    6 – 4.77
3 –  4.78    7 – 4.77
4 –  0.00    8 – 9.54

PT2399:
1 – 5.00      9 – 2.50
2 -  2.50    10 – 2.50
3 -  0.00    11 – 2.50
4 -  0.00    12 – 2.50
5 -  2.84    13 – 2.50
6 -  2.49    14 – 2.50
7 -  .55      15 – 2.50
8 -  .58      16 – 2.50

Keep us posted, and, as I said in another post "No mothe%$%ng circuit can stay in a ''non-working-state" here at diystompboxes forum for too long!!!!"

Great! thanks alot, got it to work after a few changes of capasitors and some clean upp

Great video! This thing has definitely been added to the top of my ever-growing to do list. What sort of enclosure is that you have it in?

I use a power supply unit encloser, i have tons of those at my work, so i use what i have :) they look really cool.

have one problem with this pedal thoe, it seems the input jack and output jack is to low, so i hafto use a booster pedal on the in to get the levels higher, is there any mod or someting i can change to fix it  ?

Hi

review your wiring/components/traces, the Rebote 2.5 is a well kown working crkt built by many people without mods, though IIRC there's a resistor to be changed to get a little bit of additional level.

quoting Blanik
lift the right side of the 33k resistor above IC2 (you can actually make it 15k or 20k, you will have more volume control on the repeats only, at 33k unity between dry and delayed signal is when level pot is maxed but sometimes in band settings you loose the effect, reducing this resistor will have unity at 75% travel of the pot, leaving you a 25% boost for the wet signal)...

He's referring to the Tonepad layout.

But again if output level isn't at the same level of input, when Level pot is maxed, then check your crkt.
