Hello DIYers :D
I want to build a simple bass recording preamp consisting of small and easy-to-build circuits, like the Submarine Bass as a preamp, Really Cheap Compressor, and maybe Bazz Fuss + Buff'n'Blend combo for the overdriven tone (or One Chip Chorus instead, dunno, or I'll just make two versions :P). Since I want it to be studio-ready I guess I have to build a DI Box circuit. But searching the net here and there didn't give any good results. Is there any small and easy Di Box you would recommend?

the AMZ multipurpose op amp board ships for only 12$ and includes plans for a guitar DI. might just need to tweak input impedance resistor a lil. maybe not. it would be an active DI.

other than that i would just calculate your output impedance on the other circuit and buy a nice jensen direct box tranformer or an edcor PC10k:10k
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT LARGE PEDALBOARDS....

.... I BET YOU WISH YOUR PEDALBOARD WAS AS LARGE AS MINE
