Hi,
in order to mod an Electric Mistress Deluxe version, 18 volts, it wouldn't be better to start from another deluxe pcb like that, rather than the other way found here, also based on SAD1024 chip : http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=46157.20 it would be too pricey for that use ?
This fixed delay line, as i understand it, deals with omitting input buffer stage and the second dry+feedback stage, simplifying control of clock, just one clock/dekay pot, then adapting output filtering cap and basta.
By the way I've seen that EM 9V version does not have output buffer stage based around one 4558 while deluxe does. now i wonder if it's really an improvment.
At least, for through-zero fx there is no use in feeding this new board with reverse or straight lfo cv from the main board ? or with cv pedal ?
Or maybe someone will confirm that TZF results would be really better with another ic for this fixed delay line add-on ? with MN3007 or PT or else ?
