Foxx Tone Machine octave switch question

The Foxx Tone Machine has a spst switch to turn the octave effect on or off.   I'm building one and I'd like to have that be a footswitch instead of a toggle switch.   Can someone tell me how I could use a DPDT footswitch to turn the octave on and off instead of a SPST?  Thanks.
