CD4047??

Hi. I have a batch of cd4047's that have a notch on one end and a spot on the other. Would I be right in assuming that the notch overides the spot when determining orientation. i.e. Is pin one left of the notch or the spot?

Or your looking at the wrong spot.  On the data sheet it looks like there are 2 spots, but only one is for pin 1.
