cheers guys...yeah its much better now i got rid of the fizziness....its strange how one day it sounds ok, then the next its not quite what you remembered it as..

maybe i need my ears syringing or something.......anyway..

yeah second clip is much better, thats with taking the 1uf cap off the 1st muamp source...really cleans it up...and drops any oscillation too..(toggle? hmmmm)

with the cap it sustains a lot better though......but when in a live loud situation i think it'll be more than ample....its always different loud eh...

anyhow, i'll work on a pcb layout....

right get your flares and afro on......a bit more tinkering and found a great funky mod ......

by lifting the 1nf from between the first 2 fets i get this...it makes such a difference..(i tried various caps, but none was best..great.)...

start of clip with 1nf to ground...then lifted.(at 0:20)...check this funky mother out, sounds like that classic bright fender almost hendrixy/amp...and bluesy too...
no amp...and not a fender...

i have a strange fuzz mod too...i'm not a big fan of fuzz, but i know the majority of people are....
so i thought well why not as an additional option..

it sounds a bit like old steve hillage fuzz type stuff....(re:aftaglid)..which i was somewhat influenced by in my heady hawkwind days , festvals etc....being a teenage stoner etc...

so now it'll be...modern metal/classic metal/ funk/blues/fuzz.

i'll build this prototype into a 1590b for now (when i get the pcb finished) , but in the near future i can see this ending up in a 1590bb with a full BMT stack and maybe a 6 way rotary
and 2 footswitches...a full on all in one dirt box if you like......btw this sounds great with a wah too...

anyway...whatever!...
