Why does the small clone lfo modulate the cd4047? (2)

Hi everyone!
This topic was spoken long ago, but not everything was clear to me.... Just wanna know if the LFO of the Small Clone it can be replaced. What i did it was remove the LFO but leave the 10uF cap and replaced the 39k for a 100k with a LDR in parallele followed by a resistive divider between 9v and ground but nothing happens... Can you good peaple PLEASE help me with this part?

Check the datasheet

Multivibrator inside 4047 needs a RC cell, not a control voltage.
Put your LDR between pin 2 and 3.

The 10u cap acts as LPF for LFO...
