Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked many times before. I did infact use the search just to clarify that part. For some reason my internet never responds to the search... not sure if anyone else has this problem.
Anyway. I recently bought this breadboard from radioshack. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062566&cp=&sr=1&origkw=breadboard&kw=breadboard&parentPage=search

How do I use this thing? I have been told by a few people to build my circuts on here before i go to solder them...

Thanks Guys!

Thanks for the help... It helped a bit. I'm still not sure for example how to put the parts on the board so they work properly...

Well I breadboarded things on and off for some ten years and allmost nothing worked. In a sudden rage I unscreawed the back
of my breadboard and saw that it wasn't really connected like I thought. The powerrails (black and red in this drawing) was
unconnected on the middle...    :o
The fact that my power source was AC didn't make things better off course...           :icon_redface:

Happy tweaking!

For informational sake for those searching later, there is an Excellent tutorial on YouTube using a breadboard to build a simple project.

Part 1 will tell you Exactly how a breadboard works, both a RS Learning Lab board, and a typical breadboard

See YouTube:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiqNaSPTI7w

Part 2 will take you from the schematic of a flashing LED circuit to completed project, including how the power rail is powered, etc.

Very straightforward for lame newbies like myself.
