Ge Fuzz Face build issue

Hi, I'm new here. I've put together a PNP Fuzz Face from General Guitar Gadgets. After I finished it, I stuck in the PNP Si transistors provided to test everything out and it worked fine. But after I installed some Ge I got from Small Bear it went dead. I took out Q2 and replaced it with one of the Si Transistors and it ran fine, but when I put Q2 back in and did the same to Q1 I got no sound, so I'm assuming its a Q2 problem. I thought that maybe I had a dead transistor but I got a new one and ran into the same problem. I tried all of the aforementioned combos with both the stock resistors and the ones Small Bear provided. I'M STUMPED! Any help would be much appreciated.

yes, we need a bare minimum of at least the voltages in each of your scenarios...
