Fuzzface Adapter problem

Hi there, Ive recently made a fuzzface copy, based on general guitar gadgets layout. Everything seemed just right until i connected the pedal by the adapter. Pedal started to make noise, a kind of beeping, it reacts on the volume knob turning, also the pedal got lets say 30% louder and the LED 3 times brighter. Any suggestion how to balance it? Thanks
