Hello, i build a Fuzz Face with trimpots for collector resistors and used a DMM for trimming it and it sounds very good! But if a "normal" guitar player where to fiddle around with the trimpots, is there any chance of harming the transistors ? It's only 9 volts, i'm using AC128 germ. transistors, i think the datasheet reads 10v max right ? Any experience on this ?

Generally speaking 9v doesn't hurt anything except components rated for 6v or polarized components, adding in resistances generally reduces current, you can mess with the FF R values 'all day' [all week/month/year] and not fry anything.
I used to use long-leg resistors above board with the highest possible/probable value I might want there, then by putting 'piggyback' resistors parallel, the ability to quicklly/easily/reliably reduce that R value to 'what I want' [which changes from day to day or when other values change...
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Good to hear, i didn't think there was any danger, but nice to hear it from somebody else! Thank you sir!
