Led in guitar circuit question

Hey guys, this is a bit OT, but had an idea and I'm trying to think this through before heading home to try it tonight after work.

If a superbright LED is wired up in a guitar with a 9v battery, and the power ground of the battery running the LED is also attached to the bridge ground (signal ground of the P/Us) would that create any kind of pop in the audio whenever the LED was powered on? If so, how could this be avoided?

Why?

Does not need to be connected, unless there is something you are not telling.

However any sudden change-of-current "near" guitar pickups is begging for a click/pop.

Tack-solder battery, LED, and switch together, hold it near the guitar, and try, before you go drilling.
