Vox Wah problem

I've got the standard Vox Wah, and the pot has come loose from its moorings. I can't seem to tighten it enough for it to stay in place. Any ideas or experience with this? Thanks!

Add a rubber washer?

proper open end wrench helps. usually 12 or 13 mm.  hold the pot firmly, sometimes a quick jerk with the wrench will get that last bit of torque needed. old mechanic trick.

in extreme cases, you may be able to hold the pot gently with a pair of channel locks or vice grips.
