XLR phase reverse, + phantom power?

I wanna build a box to swicth phase on a couple mics, or some cables that reverse the phase but will it be safe to use phantom powered mics with these cables?? Its just switching pins 2 and 3 of the XLR

phantom power is applied equally to pins 2 and 3, positive dc relative to ground, so swapping them should not be an issue so long as you check all other cables in the chain for anomalies.

have made and used many a polarity invert cable without any problems with phantom.
