Karate Shop Madbean with LM324, Is it possible to do ?

Hey folks,
Yesterday, I tried to build Karate Shop from Madbean, I etched board myself. I'm just curious about my problem. It didn't give me any "wah-wah"/ harmonizer sound like Zappa does. I'm using LM324 instead it should be Tl074 as mentioned on the document, but I don't have TL074 in my hand, so I guess it would be fine if I used LM324N because it has same pin outs like TL074.

Weird, I didn't result any sound, but when I bypassed the pedal, I got the signal from my guitar. Several guess turn me on to change to the LM324, but it still doesn't change the result, then I posted something here to asked about LM324 and TL074.

What is the difference between LM324 and TL074 when I used one of them on my pedal, regarding to my karate shop pedal ? I heard some people said that LM324 actually doesn't fit in when I used it with audio circuit whether this is true?? I just need some explanation both of them

Check the datasheets. I have no idea on the specific circuit you're working with, but a TL074 needs a dual supply, a LM324 is *specifically* designed for a single supply. It won't work in a dual supply/virtual ground circuit, while a TL074 won't work in a single supply circuit.

sort of information from datasheets mentioned that LM324 it's for lower frequency, and TL074 has higher frequency from it. Regarding this point, I'm just curious why my pedal didn't sounding right, so maybe the closest change to do is change the LM324 with TL074, isn't it ? but if I had changed the TL074, will I get some of "karate shop" result ? I can't figure it right now, maybe I should change to TL074
