Famous OD circuit + SHO ...have you built this ?

Just wondering what a Klon clone and the SHO circuit would sound like when boosted together ?

Has anyone built this combo ?

It would sound worse.

The Klon is designed to be able to provide a clean boost if you want it.  It is NOT designed, or intended, to provide a pleasing distortion on its own.  rather, its purpose is to precondition the signal top push a tube amp into pleasing breakup.  So, pushing the Klon via a booster will not likely yield anything pleasant, and feeding a Klon into an SHO will push an amp well past the point of pleasing breakup.

It,s pickles and ice cream, my friend.  Individually, they're great.  But combining them, not so much.

Yeah my SHO is awesome. as well as my Keeley katana. Together there crap. I need to sell the katana though...SHO clone trumps it completely!

That's kinda what i have found as well ....the SHO is a great little boost !
