How to mount the pcb in the enclosure?

Hi all,

First build and I'm wondering how the pcb mounts in the enclosure.  I'm using the tonepad tube screamer pcb.  I've looked at a ton of the builds in the "pictures" thread and it looks like the pcbs are just freely laying in the enclosures..  Is that correct?
Thanks

3 hour silicone is my favorite. ive heard a hot glue gun is popular too. or plastic standoffs with double stick tape, but then you need holes in the PCB.

I like to use Alpha right-angle PCB mounted pots. A lot of commercial pedal makers do it that way and it's a solid mount. I also super glued to them 5/8" diameter rubber pads of 3M Temflex 2155 electrical splicing tape which is 30 mil (0.03") thick for insulation between the pots and the board so there is no danger of shorting out.

Other methods on that page linked are equally valid and do the job. It's a personal preference.
