Nice :) thanks deadastronaut!

Last question for now, I'm using the Gaussmarkov/MartyMart PCB layout. But the letters are in reverse, do I need to flip the layout to get it etched, or can I use it as it is?

No, it's a mirror image.. after you etch it will read the right way on the board.
Doesn't matter what you did to get it... If it sounds good, then it is good!

Okay, thanks :) I'm planning on using it with a 9V adapter instead of a battery, does it need any redesigning for this? I will use a OneSpot adapter (I've had great experiences with this adapter).

deadastronaut

that'll be fine!...i never use batteries.

just make sure you get a plastic dc jack...not a metal one!. ;)

Okidoki :) Damn you guys are great! I've sent the PCB layout to the company here, it will be here in 3 days. Black PCB, with greencoat and fully tinned #NICE!

Hey guys!

I'm wanting to replace C13 to C15 with ''Miller caps''. However, here in The Netherlands, most electronic stores havent heard about Miller Capacitors. Are there any specific types of capacitors that have the ''Miller effect''?

alfafalfa

Quotemost electronic stores havent heard about Miller Capacitors

Die bestaan ook niet !! = They don't exist !!

What is meant these small caps are used to create the same "Miller" effect like tubes have . It has to do with capacitance between plate and screen  and input and output. Look it up : just google.

Here is a very clear explanation:  http://www.aikenamps.com/MillerCapacitance.html

Hopelijk help dit !  = Hope this helps !

Dankjewel Alfa ;) Zeker bruikbaar!

I have ordered all components, so I'll soon start building this :)

Thanks everyone!

The Tone control from the SPITFIRE would work well.  Socket the caps for easy tuning.  ;)

I'm going to use the SWTC2 Tone control, simple but effective :)
