Most common values for resistors-capaciotors

What are the most common values i will need to start making my own pedals?I will start first with overdrives,fuzzes and boosters.Thanks a lot in advace for the replies!

If you search around a little online you can buy large sets of resistors prepackaged. For $15 I bought the entire E12 resistor series, with 50 pieces of each value from 10 ohms to 10Megaohms and still haven't used them all up. The same applies to capacitors.

Best investment ever!  I bought mine on eBay. 

For caps, I have found Tayda to have the best prices/availability if you're doing a serious stock-up.  I stock the E6 series up to from 10 p to 1u, then "E3" up to 1000u.  E3 as I like to call it is 1, 2.2, and 4.7.  Overkill? Yes!
