You might want to compare the schemo to the Univibe schemo. They are nearly identical, except in the arrangement for the LFO and in converting one of the LDRs to be a tremo instead of a phase stage.

The LFO in the RT18 is based on a transistor astable flipflop, which makes a square wave output. This is less tunable than a phase shift oscillator, which was in the Univibe.

It's simple enough to convert the Univibe to have the tremolo function. Just another few mods.

I have to second Luci on this one. Nicely done, and vero layout included to boot, can`t ask for much more. Less components as well. Go for this one bro.

Or, build yourself a Tremulous Lune. I have the stereo version, the Panneur, and I should have brought it down last time. That sucker is out-effin`-standing. Couple of veros already available, but Sabrotone`s is the most compact, and verified.

definitely...just because it's similar to something else detracts very little. small variations can make a big deal to some people.

...and just think about how many different Fuzz Face variants there are. we still build em all.
